When does Rose-Hulman typically let applicants know if they are in for Catapult?
I don’t know the specific timing. But S22 learned today he was accepted to Operation Catapult. He’s really excited.
Congrats! How did they let you know? Email? Mail?
Nevermind, he is in. How exciting!
We just applied, having just learned about Catapult a week ago. Has anyone here been to Catapult before or had a son/daughter go before? I would love to hear about his/her experience.
If you go to the RHIT Facebook page or instagram page, you can register for a chats. They have had a few about their summer programs. They had one last night, I think, about them. During the chats, they have current students who attended Catapult answer questions. There are also videos about the experiences of campers online if you run a google search. I have had some questions answered by the staff at the college as well. Overall, I have been very impressed by what I have learned.
Thanks.
My son got into the program too. We live in Southern California, Will anybody else from this area go there as well?
We’re in California, but live up in San Francisco. S22 heading there for session 2.
We are at 1st session.Just wonder since the program’s shuttle is available from 3pm to 10pm. If the flight arrives at early morning, what is the best way to get there for this kind situations?
Gotcha. I don’t know the answer there. I’m planning to fly out and tour Rose-Hulman when we drop S22 off. And I’ll fly out at the end and attend the Parent Admissions session on pickup day. Logistics are a little tricky, getting from SFO to Indianapolis (and then Terre Haute) isn’t straightforward.
I will contact the program director to see if there is better way to do it. More shuttles should be arranged due to current pandemic situation. Staying at airport is not safe at all. My family plans to go at the end of the program and do some school tours.
