Good evening everyone.

I'm facing a tough deadline for my study abroad application for LSE. I'm somewhat excited, as I have never really been to Europe, much less a city like London. Furthermore, I'm majoring in economics and I don't think you can get much better than LSE in that field of study. It's a competitive program, so I may or may not get in. But I need to assume I will get in and go if I am applying.

I wanted to know what all of you thought about the school and studying abroad for a full academic year in London. Pros/cons, etc. I was and still am concerned about the cost of going to school in the centre of London. However, I've been told that financial aid will carry through, although I'm still skeptical as to whether the costs between where I am now and LSE will be exactly the same.

Anyone who has anything to say about London, schooling in London, or specifically LSE, please comment in this thread. I would appreciate any and all comments.
