The University received nearly half a million dollars towards Penn’s “Perry World House.” The grant will “fund workshops through the Perry World House’s Global Innovation Program, which promotes interdisciplinary conversation about global issues. After holding these discussions, the Perry World House plans to share their findings in new podcasts, videos and blogs.”
The Perry World House wasn’t there when I was a student but it seems like an incredible hub for students interested in International Politics. Do any current students have any thoughts about how it has affected your experience? I know they’ve hosted a lot of speakers from the national security sector as well as the President of Mexico in coordination with the former Vice President’s Penn Biden Center. Has the student reception been positive among those with an interest in these areas?
