Hello everyone.
I took SAT two times, and my scores were 1810 in May (620 CR, 630 M and 560 W) and 1760 in October. These are, clearly, pretty low scores, so I wonder is there really any point for me to proceed with admission.
I was thinking of applying to U of Hawaii Manoa, Bryant RI or maybe Colgate, bot I am disheartened with the scores. Do I stand any chance at all of being admitted and/or being admitted with fin aid?
I was thinking that, since I'm from Bosnia (a country with hardly a few students in US) I would stand a greater chance than most other intels, but I'm not sure of it. So, I ask you: What are my chances?

Hey.
I'm from Bulgaria and I also have pretty low scores on the sat. This is as you say clearly not in our favour, but I think if you take some sat 2s in dec (and you should take toefl, if you haven't done that yet), if you have solid extra-curriculars (showing both some diverse interests and a serious concentration in one or two thingies) and write a good essay, you do have well, decent chance. Moreover, you should apply to more colleges- 6 or 7, not just 3. Better do some research on schools, see their avarage SAT admission- it takes time but it's the only way.
There is an advantage in being from Bosnia- I think not many Bosnian students apply to US, right? While quite a lot of Bulgarians do...

Good luck, mate!
