Orientation Date Advantage?

Is there any advantage in registering for the earliest orientation? I understand that we register for classes a week after orientation, so is it beneficial to sign up for the first one so we get our pick for classes/don’t get stuck with classes we don’t want?

Nope, common first year classes have reserved seats for each enrollment timeslot. First and last orientation have equal opportunity. It is only after all enrollments are over that unused reserved seats are released to all.
