My sonm is staying in the dorm. I know last summer we had to bring sheets for summer session. Do we need to bring sheets or sleeping bag for the orientation overnight? Also, do parents stay in the dorm?

The orientation website says that they provide sheets. Parents, if they choose to, can stay at the Radisson in dorm style rooms or they can get a normal hotel room at the Radisson or some other place.

The sheets provided at my daughter's orientation last summer were very thin with a slightly plastic-y feel. They're doable for one night, although if it happens to be colder than usual you might want to squeeze a light blanket in your overnight bag.

The dorms are not air conditioned. So a sleeping bag will not be necessary. Second the rec of a light blanket, just in case. This year parents are relegated to the Radi, at a fairly high nightly cost. A few years ago we got to stay in a dorm room which was actually kind of fun and nostalgic.
