<p>I’m transferring to AU this coming fall, and I was wondering if it’s useful for transfer students to register for one of the Freshman/New Student Orientation sessions. I know transfers have their own one day orientation on Aug 17, but it also said in my information packet that I should consider coming for one of the two day Freshman sessions too. Is it worth the money/time? </p>

<p>I transferred to AU in the Spring – and the orientation process that you already need to go through is sufficient. The itineraries are nearly identical, you just get to miss the whole ‘transferring to college’ – what to do about homesickness, sex, drugs etc.</p>

<p>You’re better off doing something better with your time.</p>
