OSU econ vs. UGA business?

I'm admitted to OSU econ and UGA business as an international transfer.

OSU is ranked higher than UGA in both undergrad business ranking and national universities ranking.

But I'm admitted for econ major at OSU while my preference is business.
(I'm not allowed to minor in business at OSU.)

So I'm torn between OSU and UGA.

If I choose OSU, it is because of the ranking.
Otherwise, it is because of the major.

My plan after graduation is to get a full-time job in the US.

Any advice?

I think rankings for individual programs are not all that relevant, but even less so in business. It’s more about the connections you will make there, either through mentors or internships. I would ask about placement statistics in the specific fields you are interested in.

Wrong. In the business world, where you go counts. It’s ALL about ranking. Who you know relates to your alma mater. How successful are the alumni of the institutions you’re coming from? What is the student outcome of your peers? That’s what you should look for.

As for Fisher vs Terry, both are premier programs.

Terry rankings:
