<li><p>How would you rate the campus beauty of vanderbilt? Are the grounds well maintained, are the buildings nice, is there stuff to do on campus, how is the social scene etc. btw I’m not looking for how hot the girls are when I say campus beauty. I already know that vanderbilt has the hottest girls (because smart girls with decent figures are better than STEREOTYPED CHEERLEADERS. I know not all cheerleaders are like that so girls dont rip on me for calling out cheerleaders).</p></li>
<li><p>How are the sports teams? I love division 1 athletics and it’s hard for me to choose a college without it. Since Vandy is division 1, can anyone comment on how good its teams are?</p></li>

<li>Vanderbilt's campus is beautiful. In 1988, it became a national arboretum and is one of the nicest in the country (lots of trees, stately buildings, etc). The schools sponsers lots of concerts and festivals [Rites of Spring, Commodore Quake, etc] and it probably has the largest party scene out of any USNEWS Top 20 school.<br></li>

<p>2.) D-1 sports are fun as the SEC is a major sports conference. Historically, the football team struggles. But the team has improved immensely in the last two years. Last year we won 5-games (we beat our 'rival' UT) and recieved lots of publicity from Jay Cutler who was a first-round NFL draft pick. Our team is young and Nickson has tremendous upside potential. </p>
<p>Our basketball team is solid. We made it to the Sweet-16 in the March Madness tournament three years ago with an upset over NC State. Last year, our team was rebuilding and we were a "bubble" team. But we should definitely atleast make the tourney this year. </p>

<h2>Vanderbilt had the #1 recruit class last year according to Baseball America. In 2004, we made it to Super-Regionals (one game away from College WS) but got beat by Texas. Overall, they do well.</h2>
<p>These are the only teams I follow. I don't really know too much about the teams for tennis, golf, etc but supposely we are pretty good.</p>
<p>The campus is amazing! (Just watch out for squirrels!)</p>

<p>They maintain an insane groundskeeping budget. There isn't an inch of campus that is unkempt. An extreme example: they paint the grass on Alumni Lawn green for graduation weekend.</p>
