Harvard, Barnard, Georgetown, Tufts, BC, NYU and WUSTL as a transfer student. Still waiting to hear back from EVERY.SINGLE.ONE other than Wellesley. Blargh.

I applied to Wellesley, Scripps, USC (University of Southern California), Stanford, Columbia, Brown and Harvard. If you're looking for schools similar to Wellesley, I'd highly recommend the Claremont Colleges, particularly Scripps (the all-women's one) and Pomona. They have a similar academic background with friendly, motivated students. And they both have gorgeous campuses!

Hey chopsticks3092, I'm also from the Seattle area! Are you for sure going to Wellesley?

Peteali06 -
No, actually I chose Pomona. Did I meet you at the Wellesley reception for admitted students in Seattle?

Oh you may have! That's funny since I was considering Claremont McKenna for a while but got waitlisted. Good luck!

Thanks! Good luck to you too at Wellesley! It's a fabulous school, and in the end my decision came down to just Pomona being a better fit for me. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful four years there!
