passes over salt-shaker to legend in case his supply runs out

lol
Suddenly I feel like I'm part of a mob running around torturing people....

Well, you basically are. I mean, Slic and Legend are salivating, and you're separated from both of them by 50 states... *prepares her clich

oh this is hilarious! you guys are awesome :D

Can someone give me some sandpaper and rubbing alcohol? I don't think the salt did the trick for Slic...

And may I ask why the latter? =P

wow. ignore my above ^ post. I didn't realize this thread was 3 pages long and going nuts.

hahahahaha! =P yep once again we rock at deviating from the OP's statements...but i appplied there cuz i needed a safety =P

lol oh legend you're too good at torture....

but I think you have sufficiently scared away slic for now.

Any other P-Ton apps apply to Chicago?

I know an EDer who did. "astrix" on CC.

I did, but I don't think I'd go if I got accepted. I was considering it in the fall, but since then, I've gotten into Wellesley (likely) and Amherst (early acceptance), and the location of these colleges are just much more convenient. This is just assuming I don't get into any other colleges, but if I do, Chicago would be really low on my list then.

Wellesley? Smith is so totally the superior all-girls college ;)

Well, harrumph to you! :)

Chicago's admissions stuff was so awesome. I almost wanted to apply there just b/c their materials were 16 times greater than anyone else's.

waves to kat1 Long time no talkie, eh? :)

That's exactly why I applied to Chicago: because I liked their postcards and their application.

the Uncommon Application?
I didn't apply because their essay questions were hellish.
I suppose I'm just not open-minded enough for that much creativity in a college app.
And so many post cards! ahh

chicago's weather was too offputting

My interviewer for Chicago told me that most people think that Chicago is the place where "hell freezes over" and "fun goes to die." I did not know of this between the interview, and I'm not really sure why my interviewer felt that she had to give me this information.

lol it doesn't exactly have a sunshiney happy reputation...
