Second, third, fourth etc. choice schools?

I'm just wondering what are everyone's top choice schools in the case that Princeton doesn't come through?

My other top few choices include Brown, Stanford, Pomona, and Amherst.

Yale

Harvard

Williams (or maybe Amherst)

UVa

2.Yale
3. Stanford
4. Pomona
5. Harvard

Dartmouth

Brown

Amherst

Yale

Swarthmore

Stanford

MIT

Yale

the "in case Princeton doesn't come through" makes it seem like I can get into my second, third, fourth choice schools, which I don't think I can =/ but anyway,

Yale

Brown

Columbia

Georgetown

Yale

Columbia

What are your safety schools? I'm still trying to finalize my college list, and I can't find any safeties that I really like. I'm only looking at east coast schools.

UVa is mine...

Yale

Brown

Georgetown

I am so tempted to apply to MIT. I have a pretty good technical background but I don't know if I would want to ever actually go there, haha.

ewww! I mean, umm I'm sure some people like that kinda thing (but not you!)

UVa and Boston College are my safeties (although I don't really want to go to Tufts either, and I'm applying there).

Yale

Columbia

UPENN

haha yale is second choice for everyone :-D

Yale's awesome. Princeton is just more awesome ;)

I think it'd be funny if we ended up at Yale...
But yes, Princeton is definitely more awesome.

I liked Yale a lot as well... it aws very enticing. Brown seemed great as well.

Yale

UPenn (Wharton/Huntsman)

Stanford

Harvard

USC

UT-Austin

I was thinking about the fact that many of us are applying to Yale, too. It would be way strange for us to end up there instead of Princeton. Heh.

yeah, the mass princeton --> yale exodus...that would be funny.

Dartmouth

Brown

Cornell

Vanderbilt

Hmm, I never really looked at Yale because New Haven is... just yucky. Although, one of last year's captains of the cross-country team/a good friend goes there and LOVES it. Hopefully she continues on the tradition of acceptance to all Ivies (except one, Columbia) to this year's captains :).

I think we've already established on the Yale board that Princeton destroys Yale in coolness.

Wow. Am I the only one here who disliked Yale? 'spose so. I'm applying but don't except to get in. No tears will be shed there.

As for safety definites, I've already been accepted into UC Irvine, so I know I'm going to college somewhere for sure. Woohoo! ;)

No, I didn't like it either - or, more specificially, I dislike New Haven and the idea of super-binding residential colleges. I know Princeton is adopting the idea but it seems much more relaxed there.
