@kjofkw
I’m not sure what you mean by “last page,” but maybe what you are seeing is:
The first 2 threads are “Featured Threads”
scroll …
Then several threads which are pinned, as indicated by the pushpin icon which blends in with the rest of the stats (listed in order of when they were pinned… I think)
scroll …
scroll…
Then the active threads in chrono order (newest updates first).
Then … MORE scrolling . . . . . . .
The new look? My summary: Welcome to scrolling your life away to get to where you want to go!
I’m not a frequent poster although I’ve been around for nearly a decade. The new format is no improvement. I find it far too time consuming to scroll through and the font is difficult to read. It seems to be a poorly thought out “solution” to a problem that did not exist. At the very least please provide the old format as an option.
I’d hate to lose the collective wisdom of the wonderful posters on Parent Cafe, but I think this new format will drive away many of them.
Please go back to the old format. This format makes it much more difficult to find things and navigate around.
I found another bug. The “T word” is not starred out in thread titles. I’d assume other banned words also are not. ?
@intparent Yes it is. e.g.

If you have a different example, please PM me.
@CCadmin_Sorin, chicoo is listed as “most active.” From the user’s profile page, you can see that his/her last post was in 2013. What’s the deal?

The Election and Politics subforum doesn’t show up at the top of the Parents Cafe page anymore! Yay!
I will add my voice to those who think this new interface is terrible. I definitely need a bolder, blacker font. It’s difficult to find the forums I use. All the other complaints everyone else has shared. Very frustrating.
I am having difficulty using the search feature in the new format. In the past, I would run an Advanced Forum search for Rice every so often to find threads mentioning Rice that might not be in the Rice forum. The search feature no longer seems to work the way it did before. What am I missing/doing wrong?
@Houston1021 It’s still working for me. Click the magnifying glass to the left of your username at the top of the screen, then click the dropdown on the left to get “Advanced search.”
The search function is just as terrible with this update as it was before. No improvement there.
The search function doesn’t work on my iPad. I can’t search by major. It’s only by luck that I found this thread.
It’s very difficult to find the forums I want or even to read anything on the website. Please bring back the old style.
I was just mentioned on a post (with the @ and all), but never received a notification. I went back through the notifications to make sure. Is that not a thing anymore?
@momofsenior1. Let’s test it out.
Let me know if you get this. ?
Yours came through @knowstuff.
I was mentioned in a Purdue thread dated today at 1:08 pm. I even double checked that it was me and not someone with a similar name.
I had a notification from 6:27 am and then yours at 2:43 pm with nothing in between.
@skieurope I did see the “T” word in the clear on the title of that post you linked to, I think when scrolling through latest posts. But I think it has gone beyond 10 pages, so I can’t see it to take a screen shot. On iPhone XR, iOS 12.1.4.
Just hopped onto a laptop and I really like the web view. I am probably in the minority but it was alot easier to grasp than the mobile view and easier to expand and find the forums and threads.
I’m still hoping this whole thing will be like the 1985 season of Dallas…right when Pam walked into the bathroom to see Bobby Ewing in the shower and the whole thing was nothing but a bad dream…
