I'm transferring to Colorado State University from Arizona, & looked up the costs of living on campus as well as everything else included and for a year it's $41,000. How would I pay for that? I get pell grants but that just isn't enough /:

Colorado schools are not generous with merit or need aid. I’m sure you’ll be expected to borrow the max, work, and have the rest from savings and assets. If you don’t have those, I think this school will be unaffordable to you.

You wont be able to afford that school. I hope you didnt cut ties with your current school

Not only would loans that size be a horrible idea, your parents would have to co-sign, and if you are a Pell student, then they dont have the income to qualify.

Stay in Arizona.

YOU can only borrow:

5500 frosh
6500 soph
7500 jr
7500 sr

How WILL you pay those bills. I agree with mom2. Stay in AZ if that is your state of residency.

How did you expect to pay for it? Didn’t you look at the cost before applying?

Why do you want to transfer to Colorodo so badly? It seems like all else equal, you’d benefit if you stayed in Arizona
