Out of these three colleges..which one??

<p>Hi guys..I'm new to this forums and in search of finding some advice. I want to major in music and was wondering out of these three colleges where is it the best to study music..
University of Michigan
New York University:Steinhardt
Berklee college of music</p>

<p>I know what you guys are probably thinking.."of course berklee!" Right? ;)
But i was wondering maybe if NYU:Steinhardt or UMich is just as good as Berklee.
Also, since its my first time around the forums i would also like to ask that if this post was posted in the wrong part, please let me know so that I can repost it somewhere else.

<p>I don’t know enough about music majors to answer the question – but you should think about the type of environment in which you want to spend the next 4 years – do you want to be totally immersed in music and in a school where everyone is into music? or do you want to interact with people in all different types of majors? There is no right or wrong answer, just something to consider.</p>

<p>“Major in music” is a little broad. Much would depend on the instrument/voice, type of music, etc. Definitely check the music major forum.</p>
