<p>Do you know how outside scholarships affect the Penn financial aid package? Does it take off work study first and then grants? Thanks!(asking for son)</p>

<p>Hi! It takes away from student contribution and work study. Then, it takes away from grants. This sort of works out nicely because if you set your work study has $2000 and you get a $2000 outside scholarship, then bye-bye work study! </p>
