Due to some extenuating circumstances my father was not able to help pay for my dorm and I couldn't find a job in town so I had to leave college after one semester. I owe about $3,000 towards my dorm fees (it was a freshman requirement to live on campus and have a meal plan). It has since been sent to a collections agency and I want to go back to college this fall. If I make a payment plan will I be able to go back, get financial aid and get a financial aid refund for all my books and supplies?

This is your second thread about the same topic. The responses in the other thread are accurate. You need to pay in full, or the first school will not release your transcripts. You need to cross that hurdle first. I’m not sure how you would be,admitted to a second college without being able to provide transcripts from the first.

You need to pay college one in full. You need to get this reconciled ASAP as a collection agency I’ll heap on fees in addition to you owe.
