oxford guys (ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!)

alright guys, I know that you're all amazingly smart here. For those of you that interviewed for Oxford, what'd ya think?

when aare you applying for 2007 adm?

no 2006, my interview's wednesday, i dont really know how to prepare tho

should i wing it?

What subject have you applied for? It will be an academic interview with the main aim of assessing your potential for studying the subject you want to read. The word 'potential' is crucial as they are likely to be less interested in what facts you can regurgitate than how you apply your knowledge to new situations. However, any written work you have submitted may well act as a starting point so you should at least think about what wider issues the written work throws up.

Have a look at www.**************.co.uk which is the UK equivalent to this site. There are always plenty of threads about Oxbridge interviews, especially at this time of year.

Just to add that the inexplicable row of asterisks there should read ************** (all one word)!

Is this board being precious or something?

the student room (but put it together as one word)

U.........R..........THE...........MAN

thanks verrrrrrry much

any more input?
