What did you do?

We submitted a video from a duet she performed at a cabaret. It was simply our personal iphone video, nothing fancy…she passed their prescreen, so I guess it was fine.

A short tap combo, and passed so I guess it was fine as well!

I uploaded a group contemporary dance piece that I choreographed and danced in… Just submitted it now so waiting to see results. Fingers crossed!

We skipped the Wild Card and my daughter passed so it is definitely optional.

I really like this request from Pace as it gives such a nice chance for individuality.

I think more schools should do this. How a kid comes across in a video shot specifically for a prescreen can be vastly different than how he/she comes across on stage. I know many kids like this, my D included. A Wild Card video gives students the opportunity to submit a clip that shows their poise and stage presence in a live setting and how the audience responds to them. For kids who shine on stage, this is a very valuable opportunity!

My daughter didn’t submit a wild card video but passed the prescreen.
