I am planning to start a nail painting business where I paint peoples nails (7 dollars for a mani and 14 dollars for a pedi) and use the money to donate to charities. The thing is I want to help orphans but in reality have no clue how. Anyone know any legitimate orphan helping organizations? Or maybe societies that help with world hunger?

What you propose requires a license by your state because of health codes and standards.
You are cross contaminating nail equipment, tools, polish with multiple person usage and is unsanitary.
Think of another way to earn money for your charities.

Guess OP needs to look at her own state’s rules.
Nasty outbreaks of flesh eating bacteria, fungal infections in the local area made this a no no.
Proceed at your own risk.

Oh okay thanks i was unaware
But I was planning just to go to the people’s houses an use their nail polishes because I figured all my friends would be the only people I’d paint if for

I really doubt OP needs a license… For painting other people’s nails? Isn’t that a bit much?
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t think that someone is going to get sick after you paint their nails and then is going to sue.

I’d advise donating through UN organizations or NGOs affiliated with them.
I couldn’t find any organizations specifically dedicated to orphans on an international scale, but here are a few about children:
Save the Children, GirlUp (gender equality for girls), Shot@Life (vaccines for children), and of course UNICEF.

World hunger:
World Food Programme (WFP), Feeding America (domestic), No Kid Hungry (domestic).

I hope I helped! You should be able to get a nail-painting business going; just check with your state regulations. If not, maybe you could pursue something similar?
