<p>Well, we tried the fixes for paragraph breaks that we found here, and finally my S essay at least shows the paragraph breaks, but no matter what we do, we can't make the indents show up. Everything stays aligned to the left. Anyone have this problem and were able to fix it?</p>
<p>Nope, indents will never show up, and aren’t really necessary anyway. Idk maybe you could just press the spacebar 5 times, but there’s not really a point .</p>
<p>The admissions offices know that the Common App essay will not allow paragraph indents, so not having them will not place anyone at a disadvantage.</p>
<p>Another one who could not create the indents so decided the para breaks would have to suffice. (Pressing space bar did not work either.) Given the nightmare I had anticipated, the actual filing was not that awful.</p>
