PS. Goodness that campus is just amazing!

I think happier people tend to be at UCLA. Bottom line, it is YOUR life and you need to make yourself happy. Im sure if you have a heart-to-heart with you dad and take him to Bruin Day he will be happy with your decision.

Oh and show you dad this thread ;). I know people who went to Berkeley. 2 are not happy, 1 is satisfied, and 1 loves it.

To be fair, I think your dad wants you to go to Cal so you can experience living life on your own without having your parents at your side at all times. I say this because this is what my parents wanted as well (not that I had or have the choice of going to Cal or UCLA). I think it could be good preparation for living on your own after college and experience the different (if slight) culture of NorCal. Just backin your pops up, since no one seemed to do so =p. But of course, if your heart is set on UCLA, go be a Bruin, son!

How tough is this choice to make anyway?
I think UCLA is a great school…
But somehow all of us are in the same dilemma especially when it comes down to two colleges.
I want to take up Econ but I can’t decide at which college… http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/1324497-ucla-carnegie-mellon.html#post14222593?! :|
