Parking @ BHM?

<p>What experiences has everyone had with specific parking lots at BHM? I seem to recall the parking garage at the terminal not being particularly friendly to pickups and that is what the DS has at school, and can’t park at the Ferg deck, for example.</p>

<p>Are there good lots near the airport with shuttle services? Any favorites? daily rates and discounts available online?</p>

<p>Thanks, just hadn’t had that particular need yet and wanted to know what others had experienced and would definitely use again, etc.</p>

<p>I am looking for parking for his truck during his trips home on breaks, so several days at a time. We have used the cellular lot there a couple of times and it is very convenient for drop off and pickup. Thank you for the links. I will check them out.</p>

<p>I am from BHM and usually get someone to take/pick me up but looked at this lot recently b/c I had early flight $9/day and they run you to airport and come back and get you -$3 less than deck at airport -passed it and it looked decent -ended up changing flight so a friend took me…</p>

<p>^^^ Thank you. Trying to compare & contrast the University Shuttle vs. driving himself to the airport as a matter of fact, so this is a big part of doing this little exercise. Always the option for sharing a ride, but then there are flight times to consider vs. the schedule of the shuttles, etc. etc. I don’t want him to cut it too close on a shuttle, but I don’t blame him for not wanting to spend hours sitting at the airport either… decisions, decisions. Thanks to everyone for the input though, much appreciated.</p>
