To be Honest, no matter how high your SAT, Extracurricular, or GPA is there is no guarantee with the park scholarship. A girl at my high school who is now going to be a freshman at another school had above a 2200’s on the SAT, took Ap chem, Ap Physics and Ap Calc her junior as well as some community service project made it as far as the semi-finalist. The people who are capable of getting the park scholarships can also get into elite/Ivy league schools. The only way of knowing if you can get it, is by applying. Also, it depends on how well your recommendations, interview and essay are not just high school work.
On Good Note, I think that if you can bring up your GPA and SAT then you stand a good change, better than average. Good Luck!
About the GPA, I am not completely sure, correct me if I am wrong but if you are applying for the scholarship, I think you have to apply early action.

Yes, if you hope to get any kind of scholarship at NCSU, you have to apply by the first app. deadline. I think it’s Nov. 1.

The Park scholarship is very competitive. The Val. of S2’s class took all the hard AP’s,never made a B in his life, was an athlete, Eagle Scount, etc. but did not get it.
On the other hand, a girl in S1’s class got the Park scholarship and was not even in the top 10 in the class.

NCSU offers other scholarships. If not the Park, you may qualify for others.
Good Luck to you.
