paying application fee online

sorry if anyone has a thread like this alread... i've been trying to pay the 60 bucks online with a credit card, but the site keeps telling me that my browser doesn't support 128-bit data encryption. i've tried to pay on three different browsers (Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer), but i've gotten the same message every time. has anyone else had this problem and if so, have you gotten around it? i would just send a check, but the soonest i'd be able to do that would be the 3rd, two days after the deadline....

I'm sure they wont mind if you send the check. Maybe have a little note with it. You could also find a better computer.

i've tried it on my dell desktop, my dad's dell laptop, and my apple powerbook (which is clearly the superior computer...lol) and it doesn't work on any of them. and i know for a fact they all support that type of encryption/they're up to date. but i'll just go ahead and send a check...

Yeah, I sent in the check. If you click on the link that's says something like "Pay by check" then it'll give you a page to print out and mail with your check. I mailed it on December 31st but I'm sure they'll understand if yours is postmarked a little later. They're gonna have so much mail to sift through anyway.

The same thing happened to me. I guess I have to mail on the 3rd. I'm going to email my admissions conselor also.

What the? I tried again and this I did pay pay my fee online. So then I go to the same page, see a link that says "Send payment", and when I open it the page says "upgrade your browser." Guess I'll have to check my email for conformation of the payment recept.
