Paying for college

Hi I am so lost on what to do for paying for college. I have exhausted fafsa funding and don’t know where else to look for funding. I always hear about people going to school just about their whole life without having to pay for college. School starts in four days I have looked into scholarships but no luck yet does anyone know any options I can look into?

School starts in four days? Where is this?

Are you a first year student?

When you say you have “exhausted FAFSA funding” what does this mean? The FAFSA doesn’t give you money. It’s a financial aid form. The data in it determines your eligibility for the Pell Grant and any other federally funded aid.

Other than the Pell, and Direct Loans…the colleges award need based aid.

So…please explain what you mean? Have you been in college for more than 6 years? Have you used all of the aggregate amount of Direct Loan money? Have you been in college too long to now qualify for the Pell…or did you never qualify for it?

What does your college financial aid award look like?

How much does your college cost?

This isn’t true for the vast majority of college students.

Do talk to those people and find out how they are doing this, and put yourself in their situations if that’s what you want, if possible.

Some are in very special positions that take difficult accomplishments ; some are in situations you might not want to emulate.
