PC or Mac, which is more common at MIT?

Just based on casual observation, which seems more prevalent?

Or is it about 50/50?

I’d guess PC because more customization is available

It depends on your major. Most ME use PC. Most CS prefer Mac.

I had already read that, but it didn’t answer my question. I’m really just curious about popularity. The website of another of dc’s top choice schools clearly stated that Macs dominate. So, I wanted to know if the same was true at MIT where dc will also be applying.

@nw2this in most of the course 6 classes I took, Macs seemed slightly more prevalent.
