Penn (CAS) or LSE (London School of Economics)?

hey guys,

I got admitted into Penn (college of arts and sciences) and also got an offer from LSE for Maths and Economics. If i do choose to go to Penn, i will probably double major in Maths and Economics or major minor in Economics and Math.

I'm currently torn between the two universities. I have been to both universities for open days/visits and can see myself enjoying Pennsylvania and London.

I would ideally like to pursue a career in business/finance/banking of and so that makes it even harder (Penn has Wharton and although i am in CAS i can take as many classes as i want in Wharton) whereas LSE is known around the world as a IB feeder. I would ideally like to work in the Far east (so not India, middle east etc.) and also Australia. No interest in US or Europe.

Please give me some advice on which i should go for. Also which university has a better international prestige?

Seeing as you are not going to Wharton and you still want a career in business/banking area, LSE would definitely be the smart move. In terms of prestige:

US- Penn (CAS)>LSE
Europe-LSE>Penn (i doubt anyone would even know of a university of pennsylvania)
Asia-Wharton=LSE>Penn (rest of it)
