@dlesk: That was a brilliant statement. I couldn't have said it better myself. Thank you :D

the anxiety is killing me, and those couples hours are will go by so slow. The sooner the better

effrum couldnt be more right. ive worked four years, i'm burned out and I need my decision. I am exhausted.

ha! you guys have "worked" four years and "burned" out? you have no idea what you're in for if you go to penn

what are we in for at UPenn?
is it just the "safety" of Penn?

Only ~35% of us are getting in! Most of you are just eagerly anticipating disappointment.

pretfun - it is the fact that you have to do way more work than in high school

No one said anything about being eager--at this point, I think most of us just want to get it over with so we can move on with our lives.

^^^^ well said

i agree, i have been slacking so much recently just because i might be getting into penn in a couple weeks. Once the decisions come out i'll either be estatic, or reality will hit me and i'll become more focused on school and my midyear report

oh man...lets not even bring up the midyear report :-P

yeah, if I don't get in ED, I may be in trouble :)

heyhey guys, so can we call in and check our application status? my teachers faxed their forms in after penn told me that I was missing teachers' recs (i used mail btw), so should i call in? because i emailed them and explained to them the situation, they replied me back saying that there are too many applications and it is impossible to check the status....

haha they didn't even respond to my email
