Penn Nursing Dual Degree Program

OK I was looking into this program and I stumbled upon a dual degre program with Wharton. Does this mean one applies to Wharton or the School of Nursing. Is this harder to get than regular nursing? I know Nursing has an acceptance % of like 22 and Wharton has one of like 9%? Thats a big diff

there are like 5 people in each year of the program. percentages/rates/statistics don't matter. you have to be a candidate who'd normally be admitted to both schools.

mattwonder, can you please elaborate on what you mean by "you have to be a candidate who'd normally be admitted to both schools"?

And it only admits 5 people? I never know that, their website is so vague. I'm trying to decide which one to appley to...LSM or nursing.

As in, they look at

If the student were applying to ONLY Wharton, would they make the cut?

If the student were applying to ONLY Nursing, would they make the cut?

It only has 5 people due to the smaller applicant pool, iirc.

So if there's a smaller applicant pool for Nursing+Wharton, it's easier to get in than LSM?

no, I apllied last year and was denied. it is pretty hard.
They want to know that you are going to be a nurse and are not just in it for the wharton part. It admits five at the most.
