^ wow that's really cool.

campus is going to be legit

yeah, too bad we'll be gone by then
haitman, what school in MD?

Future looks especially pretty over there at Penn! Too bad it doesn't seem like they're made much consideration for extra parking in their new plan... :P

Seriously though, seems great, and I don't even know the area! When I visited I looked at this area they're planning to develop and said to myself, "man, if only they developed this area and made it mixed use." At last!

i heard they will develop the area around hill house (hill field) first correct?
-Lansdowne High in maryland

Would this mean construction hell for students for a few years, or will it be removed enough that it wouldn't matter?

While there are certainly plenty of upgrades planned for the heart of campus, there are always construction projects scattered about there anyways. The major development will be in areas not used by students on a daily basis, and shouldn't affect them too much.

That looks great.
So is definitly going to happen, or just something they would like to see?

It's in the works so it's happening.

For the next 25-30 years...

it's always good to expand. Penn is changing with the times.

How much do you think will be done in the next 5 years? (I think I might want to go there for graduate school instead.) I'm guessing there will still be a bunch of construction mess..
30 years seems like a long time though

I don't really see there being too big of a difference over the next 5 years. While I'm guessing most of the work will be done before 30 years, I wouldn't be surprised if some of it is still underway. This is a looonnnngggg development project for Penn's future, not just proposed plans that are going to be put into immediate effect.

we got new lights :)!

Looks awesome.
