Penn State and Colorado School of Mines Petroleum Engineering Chances????

I’m a junior and I live in upstate New York, I’m looking into petE and want to know where I stand( I’m a female):

GPA: 3.5(uw)
SAT: math-690 cr- 650
Very competitive school
Hard schedule with various APs and honors courses. I’m also I grade ahead with math.

Have taken college engineering courses and recieved credit through RIT with the PLTW program.

Eng critical thinking
AP CALC
GYM
AP PHYSICS
EDD(engineering class with allows us to design create and innovate our own invention to better the world)
CEIP(internship class with engineering firm near me)

Work Experience:
Deli near my house

Split rock real estate

Varsity Alpine Ski racing(since freshman) also captain every year
Club ski racing since 5yrs old
Varsity field hockey(since sophomore)
Club field hockey
Futures field hockey
Managed lacrosse team
Captain of modified lax
Captain of JV field hockey
(Future captain of v field hockey next year)
French club
Frisbee club
SADD club(students against destructive decisions)

Awards:
Field hockey all state team
Field hockey made it to state
Ski racing all star team since sophomore
Ski racing states since sophomore
Placed 9th at states for ski racing

So… I’m looking mainly at Penn State and Colorado school of mines it’d be great if someone could chance me!!!

You should apply to both, of course. Your odds at Penn State for PetE engineering are high as long as you apply between Sept1 and Nov1st (with all materials in by Nov 30). You could even apply to Schreyer, depending on your grade distribution and writing skills.
Colorado School of Mines: Increase that math score, unless you have an SAT Subject Math2 score higher than that.
You should also apply to Case Western Reserve, RPI, and WPI (adjusting major choices), + UH Honors, UT (Austin), UTD (CollegiumV).
