OOS son, 4.36 GPA (w), 4.0 GPA (unweighted), APs, dual enrollment (finished Calc through SDSU this year), varsity football, varsity rugby (just won CA state championship), FIRST robotics, 4-week summer camp at UCSD to learn coding (Python), started a tutoring organization⊠so lots of great things. Accepted to PSU Aerospace Engineering and a few other AERO (Purdue, Texas A&M, CU Boulder, SDSU), waitlisted or denied at EVERY SINGLE UC which was a shock. So I say this to say, be proud whatever happens as itâs a competitive landscape and thereâs always someone with a better GPA, scores, more activities, etc. so we just gotta love on these kids, help them go somewhere they are gonna SHINE and trust that theyâll end up where they are supposed to be. Love these forums as ALL of these kids are our future an impressed by the care, love and support all the parents are showing for their own kiddos and others. Thanks for all the advice along the way!
