Penn State Jefferson BS/MD vs Boston University BA/MD Interview

Hi guys!
I've gotten interviews from both PSU/Jeff and BU; only one problem,-- they're on the same day. If I understand correctly, PSU/Jeff only has one interview day for all applicants, so there's no chance of rescheduling, while BU has multiple days but assigns you one based on which professors they want interviewing you. I've gotten in touch with BU and they've said they may be able to reschedule me, but there's no guarantee. That said, does anyone have an opinion on which interview is better to attend? Has anyone been in my situation and been rescheduled at one of the schools (or not been)? Please and thank you!

I think you need to do everything you possibly can to have BOTH interviews. You are in a position that many kids would kill for.I can’t imagine these schools won’t work this out with you.

Jefferson is inflexible and there’s no chance that they will interview a different day, so go for that. From what I could tell, Boston seemed quite flexible with scheduling given that when they admissions guy called he asked which day would suit me best. If you want to get in to either program it is mandatory to make the interview. Good luck with the situation, and PM if you want to know specifics about the interviews themselves.

Thanks! I managed to get a different date for BU, which is a relief
@breaker746- I actually don’t have enough posts to PM, but I’d be interested in any insight you have. Any chance you’d be willing to email? (amayastar810******.com)

Agree with what breaker said.
