Penn State Main vs University of Pittsburgh vs UC Santa Cruz?

Hi all,
So I got admitted to PSU for MechEng, UCSC for CS, and UPitt for undeclared in the college of arts and sciences. I’m from California and was wondering which of these programs are more well regarded by employers and in general? Additionally there seem to be some pretty major cultural differences (Penn, party+football UPitt, serious urban UCSC, stoner) could anyone comment on that?

UCSC is the most gorgeous school and the CS program is well known everywhere. You could definitely do worse than CS there as it’s just a hop over the mountain from Silicon Valley. If you were my kid I’d say: “Life is short. UCSC is gorgeous and fun. Plus you get in-state tuition for a great major. You get job opportunities to boot. And no snow unless you head east to the mountains for the afternoon skiing.” Yeah, no issues here UCSC. Have fun!
