My d has been accepted to both schools. Penn State main for fall shocked us…so, she is trying to decide. Any thoughts?

Penn State sounds a lot cooler. I think your daughter should go to Penn State based on that alone. Sorry I honestly have no idea about these two schools.

Speaking strictly about their j-schools, I think Penn has the better one. Temple’s journalism program is good, but from what I’ve heard, Penn State’s is stronger. I don’t know a lot about either school (you might want to try posting in each school’s respective forum), but in researching journalism schools, I know a little about them.
Ultimately, of course, it comes down to whichever one she is more comfortable and at home with (and the school that’s better for your wallet, if that’s a factor).
