Hello all, first post, hope I’m placing this in the right place.
I’m curious, to those who attended or have attended Penn State World campus, how are presentations and group projects done?
I’ve seen many classes requiring presentations or a separate course (a research or capstone project) based on a oral and written presentation. Are those done live, through a webcam/headset or do you record them on your own time and submit them?
I’m really looking at a graduate program through the World Campus, but figured it would primarily be the same delivery for undergrad and graduate programs.
Thanks.
Bluelion6, It’s been a year since you created this post so I’m hoping you can provide some insight -
I’ve been accepted Penn State’s “World Campus” as well as Northeastern (I would be taking online classes there as well). I’ll be transferring in with my AA and will be earning my BS in Political Science. My goal then is to go to law school, which will obviously be an “on-campus” endeavor.
How has your experience been with the World Campus courses? How does it compare to on-campus learning? I’d appreciate any insight or advice you can give me, as student experience with either program is going to factor into my decision on which school to go to.
Thanks!
