Hello! I was accepted into both Georgetown University and the University of Pennsylvania and I don’t know how to decide.
Advice/Pros and cons?
What major? If not attending SFS at Georgetown, I think Penn is the obvious choice.
I am a Chemistry major with intention to go to Medical School- Could you please give me some reasons why Penn would be better?
@LindaLins stronger chem and natural science department, one of the very best medical schools and hospitals in the world that are right in campus and are extremely welcoming to undergraduates who want to do research, better name, reputation, overall stronger departments not just in medical-related fields ( yiu might chsnge your mind about medicine you never know). Like unless you wanna go into politics or sth ( and even then it depends) Penn is the obvious choice no question about it.

I agree. University of Pennsylvania is great for anyone considering science. You should really consider choosing it.
According to parchment.com, cross admitted students choose Penn 84% of the time, and only choose Georgetown 16% of the time. So, five choose Penn for every one that chooses Georgetown.
Penn, no question. Penn is an all-around great school with many top-notch programs at the undergrad level.
Georgetown is a strong school, just not as strong as Penn.
