<p>Swarthmore does sound like a women's college. Like Barnard or something. I absolutely cannot live in those. I need a guy around to maintain equilibrium. </p>

<p>Thanks Aurelius. I want to go into pathology, and so far Swarthmore seems to be a great choice. </p>

<p>The applicant pool does include those who make stupid mistakes on their applications. There are those who messed up the grammar on their essay, answered something on the app incorrectly. Perhaps that's why the admissions rate is so low and vary each year...how many of those people are there? I love 'em!!</p>
