People who are waiting for mailed AP scores

I am waiting in California. I feel more tension when opening the letter :p

Seniors can call their colleges tomorrow to find out their scores. No biggy.

Our school did this like 3 years ago, but a little bit differently. 5 = A, 4,3 = B. But it doesn’t anymore. I literally got 89s for both semester and the teacher was so strict about her “no bumping” rules. I’m 99% sure I got a 5 on that test - AP Stats.

When will they arrive for socal?

Does it cost $8 to hear all your scores? When do people in Florida get our scores???
And also how do you send all of your AP scores from high school to ur college?!!!

My teacher is pretty cool with the whole bumping thing. If you’re really close to the next grade, he’ll bump you up. Plus, his whole score a 3, 4, or 5 for an A policy. Probably the only cool thing about him.

5 on calc ab an psych I’m happy but kinda wish I wouldn’t have spent 8 bucks I knew I passed both and pysch was a joke but oh well at least I know now. Pod luck everyone. And its 8 dollars to hear all your scores for this year

I was going to call, but then I realized that I didn’t want to waste that $8 for a couple of scores. And because I live in CA, so my scores are likely to come in next week. I want to see my scores now… I really need to get a good score in psych. Can you really call the colleges to get the scores? I hope this thread this more crowded because I’m bored.

^^I think you can call them but they probably won’t release them to colleges until the 5th.

I’m waiting too! I think I have a possible advantage since Berkeley will be uploading my scores to my online application portal, so I might get them anytime now.

Those poor scores never made it to Idaho… 0.0

^Haha nah, the Idaho slot is empty because no one in the thread posted from Idaho.

^That must mean… nobody lives in Idaho!

:D

Well, looks like I’ll be waiting 2 weeks for my scores. Oklahoma here. Yay.

Realistically what is the point of paying a whole eight dollars just to hear your scores a bit earlier? The score isn’t going to change. You (or your parents) are throwing your money away. That’s sad if you can’t wait a few weeks to hear what you received on a test. Jeez college board is making BANK on all these phone calls. For CCers to be so smart, I just can’t fathom how you could throw away real money just to get results quicker…especially since the tests are $80+ in the first place!

You spent 87 dollars per test, why can’t you spend 8 more?

Lol. What if you call 'em up to find out you scored 1’s on all of 'em. Wasted 80 dollars * the no. of tests + 8 dollars. LOOOOSER!

when does TN/KY usually get scores?

if you guys are seniors, you guys should try checking your webportals, because i just checked my ucsd account and my scores were there! saved me $8 and i didn’t have to wait for the mail. :D

I am most definitely waiting for my scores. I mean, why waste money in this economic recession. I mean i get why some people call, but it’s mostly because their seniors. I am very impatient, but i’ll wait until i get my scores July 6 (I live in Nevada).
Good Luck to everyone, and hopefully you guys will get the scores that you want :)

My SOAR workshop isn’t until the 5th and 6th, so hopefully my college will have my scores by that point. Even so, I’m not planning on taking psychology this semester because of the unit limit for freshmen.

What classes are you planning to take this semester? I’m going to Cal State Long Beach, so I’ll be taking:

Math 122 (Calc I)
Chem 111 (hopefully, have to take a placement test)
Comm 130 (public speaking…sounds kind of a waste of time, but I have to take for grad school)
Japn 101 (if there’s still room left)
