Just wondering for all you WUSTL mates, does the PEP prepay program at WUSTL work with financial aid package?
Like for example, if I received 15,000 dollars and decide to “prepay” the rest of four years, is each year deducted 15,000 dollars?

You can just call and ask, but I’m pretty sure they do.
In my case, I know that the 2k national merit was deducted for all 4 years. But that was a guaranteed scholarship that didn’t vary with income.
The way it works is not that your tuition is deducted - your account balance posts tuition (full amount). You’d then receive a credit in the amount of 15k (or whatever the amount is for that year), and then a credit for the PEP prepaid amount.
The PEP amount changes, to reflect increasing tuition rates (so you’re billed the most recent tuition rate, and the PEP change reflects that you were locked in for the old tuition rate. For example, my account was credited $xxx dollars for PEP in Spring '10, and $xxx+701 in Fall '10. If that makes sense at all.
In the case of financial aid changing, I’d imagine you’d just have to make up the difference each semester if FA dropped . You’d be refunded if FA increased.
Also of note, they refund you if you move to non-washu housing.

If so, it’s just a weird statue on campus. Tour guides try to claim people use it as a meeting spot, but that’s a lie. It’s just a fun/weird quirk on campus.
