Pepperdine transfers fall 2013

Hi I just wanted to make this forum for those who are applied as a transfer student for fall 2013. Put your stats, let's help each other, etc.

My major is journalism with an emphasis in PR
I have 30+ credits so high school grades won't matter

GPA: 3.73 average transfer GPA is 3.65
E.Cs:
Praise team (4+ years)
Church leader/teacher for retreats
Conversational partner at Biola (teach English to international students)
PRSSA member
Leader/teacher for VBS (3+ years)

Dean's List

Letters of rec: one from a pastor and one from a journalism professor (hopefully they're good)

Hey I have applied to Pepperdine as a transfer too.

From community college in Illinois hoping to major in either math or accounting.

I have a 3.88 GPA with ~50 completed units

EC’s:
Have an accounting internship
Work part time at a farm during warm months
Bible study
volunteer
Music stuff
Played baseball

Had really good recs and spent alot of time on my essay

Pepperdine is my number one choice. Its more difficult to be admitted as a transfer student, I hope we get our descisions soon.
