Pepperdine vs. Michigan (Ann Arbor)

I was accepted into both and I like Pepperdine better since it was a better fit for me. I want to do pre-med, and I feel like Michigan might be better because it seems to have more opportunities for research. At the same time, I like pepperdine as well, but I am just worried about if i go to pepperdine and i might encounter problems getting into medical school.

Pepperdine offers a fine pre-med program. You shouldn’t be too concerned with research as an undergrad. Pepperdine’s small classes offer a highly rigorous pre-med program. So rigorous, my roommates study on a Friday night. You won’t worry about getting into med school here.

Michigan seems like a better pre-med program

spoken like a true Pepperdine waitlister

Regarding Michigan - two of my children are leaving the state of Michigan for college because of the government’s significant financial difficulties. We’re concerned with budget shortfalls that are effecting the state institutions and there are absolutely no incentives for residents to remain in-state. Just a thought if you have choices…
