Percentiles on the New SAT?!

Hey
Does anybody know what range of scores fall in the 99th percentile on the new SAT? I got a 2270 (800M/730CR/740W) and I was wondering if that was 99th
Thanks!

Well, I don't know the exact percentiles, but a 2270 is definitely in the 99th percentile.

800 math is definitely 99th percentile
730 is prolly around 98th
740 around 97th

Hmmm, so do they average the percentiles??

well, i would think it would be much less likely for someone to get 790's across the board than just one 790 in one category...so the total percentile will be different than the individual percentiles, not just an average.

He's right. Lots of people get 800 math or 800 verbal. But how many get both?

This site lists the calculated percentiles for the old SAT, I would assume it's similar for the new Math and CR.

Thanks for the link, jasonng! I really hope it's similar...
