@hokupaa, got to remember that the admissions standards at the most prestigious schools were less transparent/not as high “back in the day”. Today, a 3.5 W GPA is a very unlikely admission to Carleton - Carleton gets plenty of applicants with 1500+ SAT and 4.0+ W GPA.
