<p>i was just wondering about how long the personal essay should be.
i know it says it shouldn't be bigger than 250KB when you upload, but that's more than enough(i don't see any other limit to the essay)</p>

<p>so about how long should it be (how many words approximately)?</p>

<p>Most college essays are from 500-600 words, though I've heard of some running to closer to 1000, which is probably overkill. I wouldn't suggest anything shorter than 500 words, though.</p>
