I received an email requesting some extra documents regarding my financial aid. I’m an international student thus Middlebury is need aware. Is this by any chance a good sign?
The email starts with "We require the following additional information in order to make a financial aid determination. “”
In past years, others who received that email have been accepted, rejected, or waitlisted.
International students?

For what it’s worth, Oscarlany (an international student posting in that thread) was ultimately waitlisted.
I received the same email in late January (I’m an international RD applicant). I have another international RD applicant friend with almost identical stats to me who did not receive this email. I got a bit excited at first but from seeing the above thread and the international applicant who was ultimately waitlisted I assume it probably doesn’t mean anything.

@Kigzcorp I (an international) received one in January after applying ED II. I got deferred. I know another ED II applicant (again, a fellow international) who also received the same email but got rejected.
@Kigzcorp that is just because they didnt receive all financial aid material. You are reading too much into this
