That sounds fun!!!
In my country, we don’t do that, but it is an interesting idea! :)

What do you do with your dog when you’re away for classes? If you have a lab, wouldn’t it mess everything up out of boredom?

You could ask the same question of anyone who has a dog who has to leave it for work. Well-trained dogs usually don’t mess up everything out of boredom.

It would depend a lot on the dog you have wouldn’t it? Like if you live in a big city, it would make a lot more sense to own a small rodent like a chiwawa. On the other hand, it would be a terrible idea to keep a border collie in an apartment, because those dogs are smart, and they’ll get bored out of their mind. When I’m able to afford one, I’d like to get a black lab or something.

My school does this during finals weeks too. They bring in about a dozen therapy dogs for a day. We call it “Paws A While.” The last one I went to, I had thrown out my back and had to limp across campus to take my finals, so I stopped by on my way back. It was nice to lay down and pet the dogs. Not quite as good as my own puppy, but pretty close.

Yeah, we have “puppy days” every once in a while. A building gets rented out and filled with puppies, and every girl on campus lines up down the quad. Sadly, the giant line has stopped me from ever checking it out.
