I want information about that job. hours, do they go 3 weeks on and off like drilling engineers but goes home after work each day? hours? best paying companies(big companies and independent)? pay average for 2012/2013? and I'm a high school student so should I take calculus and chemistry for it? and while we are in the topic I would like to talk about how much an impact it would be if Antarctic be a new oil land and they had me to go there and how much would it affect me financially. I will really appreciate people who will take their time to answer all my questions so I would know more about this job.

mrkyngg, I think you need to work on your English and writing skills–your post is virtually incomprehensible. What you need to do is Google for a list of petroleum engineering programs, and go from there. You will see what you need to take to get in to such a program, and as you research the programs you can learn more about the curriculum and the career options.

You also might check out the engineering sub-forum here on CC

I don’t care how my writing skills is it’s just a post but I have google’d like everything and I still have unanswered questions and it’s either this or interview a petroleum engineer
