<p>Could you provide more details about the Petroleum Engineering position--is it drilling/completions, reservoir, production?</p>

<p>Hi people. sorry for being unclear. I have graduated from imperial with a BSc in geology, now I am going for my masters and I have received 2 offers from 2 different universities:
Petroleum geophysics (at Imperial)
Petroleum engineering(at Heriot watt)
I have interest in both majors but am Not sure which one to go for, where would I have a better career ??</p>
<p>Well with either major you'll have a strong future in the Oil/Gas Industry. Personally, I would go with the Engineering degree since it'll give you some diversity and allow complement your bachelors degree.</p>
